ABOUT CHRIS
A Florida native, Chris was born in DeLand and earned his B.S. in Real Estate from Florida State University before obtaining both his J.D. and M.B.A. from Stetson University. While attending Stetson, he was a member of the Stetson Law Review.

As the founder of Sanders Law Group, Chris Sanders leads the firm’s commercial transactional practice. With more than two decades of experience, he represents lenders, developers, investors, and business owners in a broad range of sophisticated commercial transactions.

Chris regularly advises clients on negotiating and closing complex secured financing transactions for banks, institutional lenders, and private equity groups. His practice also includes commercial leasing for single-tenant and multi-tenant retail developments, residential and commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, and business asset and stock purchase transactions.

A designed SBA Attorney, Chris, serves as closing counsel for Certified Development Companies (CDCs) and financial institutions involved in both SBA 504 and SBA 7(a) lending programs, providing practical guidance throughout every stage of the lending process.

Chris is an active member of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and serves on the Attorneys’ Title Fund Services Section Advisory Committee. He also maintains memberships with the NADCO and the NAGGL.

Chris and his wife, Stephanie, have been happily married over twenty years and are proud parents of three sons. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and boating. He is also a licensed pilot, combining his passion for aviation with his love for adventure.
